EZ Lock Wheelchair Locking System

Floor mounted wheelchair locking system, securely locking the wheelchair in place and allowing the occupant to wear the standard vehicle seatbelt.

Exceptionally easy to use: simply guide the wheelchair over the EZ Lock and it will recieve the wheelchair-mounted interface, latching it in securely. Releasing is done at the touch of a button on the conveniently located control panel.

Heavy gauge steel construction, relentlessly crash-sled tested – the EZ Lock meets and exceeds every industry requirement. The BL-6290 Base Lock is cased in sturdy 5mm powder coated steel. Locking Jaws are 6.5mm steel, coated with a permanently bonded lubricant. Entry into the lock is mechanical, and release is attained by an electrical pull solenoid. Emergency mechanical release is also incorporated (in case vehicle loses battery power).

The control panel with the release and deactivate buttons also contains 3 status lights (including a buzzer), keeping the user informed of their safety at all times.

» Green LED illuminated: Locking jaws are completely closed and the system is safe to use.
» Yellow LED illuminated: Locking jaws are not properly closed and the user should try again.
» Red LED illuminated: The system is de-actived and is for unoccupied use only.
